So what's a 419 victim to do?

There are still things a 419 victim can do, the first being to admit that he was foolish and that he is sorry he tried to beat the system.  The second is to file a detailed fraud report as outlined in How To Organize and Write a Fraud Report for the Authorities

Each of these actions will receive far more attention from the authorities than all the outrage and whimpering will ever achieve.  This is another fact of life.  If you've stepped in cow doo-doo, don't just blame the cow.
